    hi all,

             can anybody help me to implement web service in 3 tier architecture? i have to use web service in a 3 tier architecture and i am confused in which tier i have to use web service. please help me on that...

    Web Services, by definition, are a Business layer implementation.  They communicate with the Data layer and are invoked/consumed by the Presentation layer.  That said, I'm not really sure how to answer your question as this is merely a conceptual consideration.  It shouldn't really affect your actual implementation in any real meaningful way.

    *Note that service layer is an implementation of ASP.NET Web API, which can be replaced with WCF or any other service framework.
