Problem with Assembly Linking RRS feed

  • Question

  •

    Hi,
i have a problem in connection with assemblies and strong names in .NET for C#. I can't

create strong names in either Visual Studio or the command prompt. In Visual Studio I

right-click on the project and then add the keys i created uising sn -k mykey.snk .
Then I re-build the program. This doesn't seem to do anything because when I try to add it

to the Global Assembly Cache (GAC) it says that the file does not have a strong name...

In the command prompt I try to link the file using AL.exe but it says that al is ignoring

the included assembly and then gives a error that no input file was given. How do I fix

    this?
