WCSF,ASP.NET and User control RRS feed

  • Question

    Hi all,

I am not quite sure if this is the suitable forum to ask this question.

I am in initial phase of an asp.net application. We decided to go for WCSF 2.0. Now we have around four pages which uses the same UI section for performing CRUD operations.

So we will be repeating this code all over the four pages(Code for mainly populating the business object and calling the presentor method).

Can we use user control or something like that here which avoids code duplication. My problem is if we click on a submit button of the user control after populationg the business object how to move forward. How to call a presenter function)

    Any help would be  appreciated.

  • You can create a UserControl + Presenter in WCSF and additionally you can share it across modules.

Also, check this thread on WCSF codeplex forums http://www.codeplex.com/websf/Thread/View.aspx?ThreadId=20321

You will probably get more answers posting on WCSF codeplex forums.
