Toolbox not populated with usable controls? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I'm running VS 2013 and working on Windows Store Universal apps. I use c#. I have seen this problem now a few times. When I go to View, Toolbox, I get the message:  There are no usable controls in this group....etc.  This seems to be a recurring problem.  How do I permanently fix this problem?  Thanks, Arvi

  • Hi,

Generally tool box would have populated controls with respective the Tap opened and active.

Eg: Open any xaml page and view the tool box window, which is filled the respective controls.

    * It would be empty if the ".cs" file is active.

Incase you want to add few controls, right click on "toolbox" ->"choose items" will help you...
