Using the Project Web service RRS feed

  • Question

  • Lets say I want to build a custom application (thick client) that uses the Project web service to create a project.  I don't need to do anything with impersonation do I??

Answers

  • That depends on what you want the application to do. In general, no impersonation.

When you install the Project 2010 SDK download, the C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Project 2010\Samples\WCFHelloProject\WCFHelloProject_vs10_CfgEd sample project creates a specified number of projects, and optionally deletes them. The sample is described in Walkthrough: Developing PSI Applications Using WCF.
