  • Hi,

    I am developing one virtual miniport driver which is bus enumerated and I need to do driver certification through authorities like VerySign. Can anybody suggest me that what is the process for this ?

  • I believe you may be confusing some information you've heard.  When we certify a device and driver you have created and tested using the WHCK we sign the driver.  That is the signature that the OS will be looking for.  However in order to submit your device and driver for certification your company needs to be registered with VeriSign, an authentication certificate company.  We use VeriSign to verify your company is legitimate and therefore when we receive submissions from you we have 2 stage authentication that its actually your company making the submission and you are not being spoofed.
