Mobile Applications in VS 2008

Hello,

 

I have never used Visual studio before, however, I need to find out about the features and tools available in VS 2008 for creating mobile applications.  I have spent many hours trying to research the program however I am finding it all very confusing.

If anyone can help me out, I would really appreciate it!

Hi Anna1515, 

You can download the templates from the Web Development Tools Team Blog Post here  There is a "readme" file attached to each of the extracted Zip folders.  But to make it simpler, once you install and unzip the package, you get a folder "ASP.NET Mobile Templates" and inside that you might find a bunch of folders.

Hello,

I have attempted to look at what you provided, however, as i have never used VS before, I am unsure about what they even look like!  Is there any chance you can explain to me what the ASP.NET Mobile Templates do?
