    I have some public constants that i am trying to use to build my ldap directory string

    The provider is case sensitive ("LDAP://").  Also, the rest I cannot tell you because much like database connection strings, they are only relevant for you.

    You can determine what it will be by using a simple script however (run this from computer in domain you want):

    set root = GetObject("LDAP://RootDSE")
    MsgBox root.Get("defaultNamingContext")
