Attempted to read or write protected memory Error when migrate date from Sybase to SQL Server R2 using SSMA RRS feed

  • When I migrate some tables from Sybase into SQL Server with the same table struture, I got the error message below:

     The data migration engine is migrating table 'Manager.dbo.phone_bind_history_bak': > Manager.dbo.phone_bind_history_bak, 93008 rows total
     Errors: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

    What should I do to solve it?

    Please help.

  • This looks a .net framework related issue. Since you have not mentioned the SQL Server version details, I assume the .net framework version 2. Check if installing this hotfix resolves the issue.
