Errors in SMB_OplockRDR test log RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

    We are trying to certify our kernel mode drivers and one of the WHCK tests we have trouble with is the SMB_OplockRDR test.  The test, when run, is actually marked as "passed" with the green check mark in HCK Studio, but in the log file there are a number of errors that all have the form "*****SMBClientOplockTest::RunATest C1Initialize Failed" or "*****SMBClientOplockTest::RunATest CleanUp Failed", for example,

    Error File="testsrc\basetest\core_file_services\shared_libs\stresslog\loggersource\logger.cxx" Line="457" ErrCode="0x0" ErrType="" ErrorText="Error 0x00000000" UserText="E00.230 :  VAR[SEV2 ]  245 : rdrtest.cxx(1732):GLE   5: *****SMBClientOplockTest::RunATest C1Initialize Failed
" CA="813500737" LA="813507191"

    Error File="testsrc\basetest\core_file_services\shared_libs\stresslog\loggersource\logger.cxx" Line="457" ErrCode="0x0" ErrType="" ErrorText="Error 0x00000000" UserText="E00.230 :  VAR[SEV2 ]  245 : rdrtest.cxx(1762):GLE   2: *****SMBClientOplockTest::RunATest CleanUp Failed
" CA="813910202" LA="813916502"

    It seems the errors must be related to the test environment as they won't disappear even when the tests are run with our drivers disabled.

    Is this a known issue?  Will these errors be a problem for certification?

  • Usually if the test marked as "passed" there isn't problem for certification because what matters is the result of the test.
