Error Exception of type System.OutOfMemoryException was thrown RRS feed

  • I have a report with Store Proc already done and running fine but which brings huge amounts of data close 125k rows andi created a report with the dataset with this SP and tried to run the report with minimum detail section on design pane.. it has thrown me an error

    Exception of type System.OutOfMemoryException was thrown

    and then i went into the dataset properties and ran the query from query designer and i didnt get any data with only header part coming up! No clue whats happeneing is my System out of memory ? that shouldnt be happening as i have ran few reports whcih have equal amount of data but they ran fine!

    Based on description, this issue occurs because the computer does not have sufficient memory to complete the requested operation. In order to avoid this issue, you can try to use one of the following methods:
    • Add sufficient physical memory to the computer
    • Adjust the MemoryLimit setting accordingly
    (Note: When you render a report through the Reporting Services Web service, the Reporting Services Web service obtains the MemoryLimit setting from the Machine.config file. However, a scheduled report is rendered by the Report Server Windows service. The Report Server Windows service obtains the MemoryLimit setting from the RSReportServer.config file)
