Issue while accessing Reflection objects from Windows Service RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I have an issue with one of the system which is working based on reflection .  We have more than 10 class libraries (DLLs) which will monitor some DB tables and will send mails in case of issues.  There is a Windows Service designed to invoke these assemblies(DLLs) in different time intervals (it has many timers with different timer frequency for every 1 min, 2 min, 10 min, 30 min etc).

This system will work perfectly fine for some 4-5 hrs and then it will stop invoking the DLLs.  Is this because some memory management issue? Do I need to implement do some cleanup mechanism?  It would be great if anyone could share some pointers to solve this problem.

    Thanks,
    Praveen
