ComboBox 'WindowText' - Unable to read Displayed Text Value RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I am having an issue reading the 'WindowText' from a ComboBox.

The combobox has a datatable for a datasource (value and display members are set), but if the windowText is a new value, I seem unable to read it programmatically.  The .text property is blank and no items are selected (as you would expect). When I debug the combobox shows the text data under 'windowtext', but I cannot access it.

Can you please let me know how I read the displayed text?

    Many thanks

    Mark.

  • For VB.NET Desktop ComboBox there is no WindowText, what type of project is this along with are you using a custom or third party ComboBox?
