    Hi

Why do u want a button to display the records same as paging if you dont want paging? Also using this button logic you will not be able to go back and front as you want. This will be very difficult for the user who is looking at the data.

Instead you can use a scroll bar for the gridview and maintain the gridview height to show 10 records at a time.

    Hope this helps.

thanks for the help . the scroll bar , and virtual scroll bar ,do my work , thanks a lot .

i would like to have all records on the same pages because in my applications i will have later to compare ,for instance, record 10 to record 40 , it is better if i have all records on the same page .

so, as i m beginner in asp.net and web applications  i didn't think about scroll bar
