Ignore Smartscreen filter while launching via LaunchUriAsync

  • I am trying to run a batch file by using "LaunchUriAsync" in a windows 8 app, but the file doesn't run, i guess because when i open it manually, it gives the smartscreen filter error.
How am i supposed to sign a batch file i just created from the same code?

is there any way to create such a batch file which would not invoke the smartscreen filter?

  • This isn't related to smartscreen.

The Launcher blocks executable file types such as batch files. There is no supported way to launch a batch file from a Windows Store app.
