VS2013 Update 2 bug ? "Cannot access a disposed object" loading designer RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • I've seen this similar post, it's marked as answered but this issue looks different, anyone can confirm it's a bug?

"Cannot access a disposed object" is followed by "Object name: 'MarshalingWindowFrame'"

    • New lightswitch HTML solution, created with VS2013 Update 2
    • Intermittent problem, so I don't think missing dlls can be the reason
    • I need to unload/reload project to continue without errors
    • Never seen this error on previous VS2013 Version
    • Happens with both screen and datatable designers

Does anyone get the same errore message?

    Thanks for any info.

For this issue, if you update your project from Visual Studio 2013 Preview, you need check the update procedure first, perhaps it can give some hints why this happens.

Angie xu, sorry but I don't understand your answer, or you've missed that I didn't upgrade my project.

It was created from scratch with the latest VS version :

    Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2013

    Version 12.0.30501.00 Update 2

Lightswitch for Visual Studio 2013  06177-004-044002-02409

    Thanks

  • Anybody ?

In addition I notice, sometimes, a different behavior with the same result.

When trying to open a screen or table, for a few seconds in the status bar this message appears:

The DocumentSite on a WindowFrame may only be set once

after that, if I try to open again the designer (of the same table or screen) I receive no error messages but the required document appears empty (everything white), until I close and re-open my solution.

  • I still face the same really annoying error after VS 2013 Update 3.

It happens sometimes (in debug or not) when I try to open a designer (table or screen).

Is it possible I'm the only one with this problem?

    Any hint?
