  • Would someone mind posting an example for LDEmail? I can't get it to work.

  • Hey heads up if your using a Google Mail account you have to head into your security settings.

    Relevant Security Settings

    The above may also be true for your current email provider so you should look into that.

  • Different email providers differ, hotmail certaily works for me.

    This may test sample, attachment commented out, but it was sent when uncommented

    LDEmail.Server = "smtp.live.com"
    LDEmail.From = "xxx@hotmail.co.uk"
    LDEmail.Password = "xxx"
    LDEmail.Recipient = "xxx@live.co.uk"
    LDEmail.Body = "A test message"
    'LDEmail.Attachment = Program.Directory+"\movement.jpg"
    
    TextWindow.WriteLine(LDEmail.Send())
    I just tested and it still works.


    I have limited it to not send more than 1 email each minute to prevent any spamming use.

  • This works for me:

    LDEmail.Body = "test"
    LDEmail.Recipient = "rickmurphy@outlook.com"
    LDEmail.Subject = "test"
    LDEmail.From = "2rickmurphy@gmail.com"
    LDEmail.Password = "*********"
    LDEmail.Send()
