Where is the .NET 3.5 SDK download? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a machine that is not able to connect to the internet that happens to be the only machine that reproduces a bug.  I need to get fuslogvw and preferably some kind of .NET debugger on it.  I remember years ago being in this situation and solving the problem by installing the .NET 2.0 SDK.  Now it looks like I have to download the entire Windows Platform SDK to get these small tools.  I don't want to have to figure out how to get the target machine to mount an ISO, and I don't want to burn a disk.  I want to put the ~50MB of tools I need on a USB drive and load it to get my work done.

I already know the answer to this question is "Go download the platform SDK n00b" but it's stupid that I just had to download a 1.4 GB and install an ISO loader on a machine so I can use one tiny aspect of the SDK.  Please consider making the .NET SDK tools a separate download again.
