How do I build a specific changeset with non XAML build definition RRS feed

  • Question

  • In the XAML build definitions I can specify which changeset I want to build. How can I do that with the vNext type of build definitions?

    Adding the BUILD_SOURCEVERSION doesn't doesn't work.

  • No such options at the moment. Build vNext will currently always build the latest version with optional changeset.

  • you may use tf get in the first build step instead directly building the solution.

in this step just download the changeset you want to build - as there is no Labeling step supported no wrong label will be set.

  • If you are abel to upgrade to TFs 2015 Update 2, you already have it, look at the Source Version textbox:

  • Luis Fraile ,

I'm using TFS-2015 update 3.RC1 (on premises)  and this feature is not available, could you please suggest me the exact version of TFS for label / Shelveset / Changeset based build support.
