Hide View Option In A SharePoint List RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

Is there a way I can remove the View option?

The idea I have is creating a web part and edit the source. Not sure what to type though.

  • Hello,

With a content editor webpart and css you can disable the view.

In case you are on the SharePoint 2007. The site of heather solomon can help. Look at the css "heathersolomon"

    Regards.

  • Editing the view is the best bet but as this only applies on the page the part is surfaced on, this may have to be applied more than once.

Same for the CSS fix.  If you're using the site publishing features or have a publishing site, you might be able to override the CSS site wide.
