How does Windows start wwahost.exe with different activations?

    Question

  • There must be some kind of interface it uses to inject start params into the wwahost process. How is it done? We would need that for our unit test runner (that starts a winrt app).

  • That functionality is not documented. WWAHOST.exe is a system process and not controlled through user interaction.

  • Of course its not documented, thats why I came here to ask how it is done. There is no way to test apps automatically, if we cannot launch them in different scenarios (without VS interaction).
