New transaction is not allowed because there are other threads running in the session RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am using the following code to populate the datagridview.

    var studmarksquery = from m in fsecContext.mmodulestudmarks

    where m.ayear == iyear && m.cid == icourseid
    && m.fsecno == ifsecno orderby m.moduleid

    select m;

    studmarkGridView .DataSource = studmarksquery.ToList () ;

    ----------------------

    then for the entity mmodulestudmarks I have mapped the stored procedures.

    ----------------------------------

    Finally when I click the savechanges() I get the error "New transaction is not allowed because there are other threads running in the session"
