Using cellcore (enfora driver) in Windows ce 6 RRS feed

  • Question

  • How to use enfora driver in windows ce 6?

I've included all the cellcore components using catalog view and also set the environment variable 'IMGENFORA =1'. I dont know what to do next.

Which COM port is used to receive the AT commands that are sent from the cellcore?

How to connect the emulator to a modem device using serial interface?

    Thanks&Regards, Gugan

  • The environment variables for the 'ENFORA' RIL driver are (see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee497847(v=winembedded.60).aspx ):

    set IMGFAKERIL=
    set IMGTTPCOM=
    set IMGENFORA=1

The serial port to communicate with the driver must be specified in the registry (see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee497232.aspx)

To redirect one of your PC serial port to the emulator you need to change the Emulator Property Settings (see http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee481812(v=winembedded.60).aspx):

  • Hi Luca Calligaris,

I saw the link http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee497847(v=winembedded.60).aspx. I got the information like 'to enable enfora driver i need to enable 710MUX driver'. How to do it?

Where to  add the following lines  'set IMGFAKERIL= set IMGTTPCOM= set IMGENFORA=1' ? In the Environment variables or in any bat file ?

What is the os design template should be used for this purpose?

    ------------------------------------------

When i've included all the cellcore components using catalog view and also set the environment variable 'IMGENFORA =1' in the OS design configuration properties. I used the ipphone basic as my os design template. I got the following error

710 MUX: ERROR: Modem on COM1 is not responding

    Please help me out

    Thanks&Regards, Gugan

  • Hi,

Thanks.....I've configured the serial port option in device emulator properties window. While running the CE image i got only two AT commands at the client side ( IPR and CMUX) afterwards i got only one junk value and not sending any further data.

How to configure the serial port to receive the AT commands?

    Thanks&Regards, Gugan
