MSOffice2016 version1712 update details related to VSTO solutions RRS feed

  • Question

  • My organisation offers a VSTO Excel based solution, which was built using Visual studio 2008. Recently this solution was not working on  MSOffice 2016. However after updating MSOffice 2016 to the latest version 1712, our same solution started working again without any change. Our client now wants to know that what exactly was changed as part of version 1712 update of MSOffice, that our Excel VSTO app started working again and where from we can download the offline update of version 1712 of MSOffice2016?
