Tooltip on Access Form field headers (Datasheet view) RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    I have a table in a form and would like to have tool tips on the Fields headers.

    for example, i have a Priority field (1,2,3) and would like the header to show:

    1=High

    2=Medium

    3=Low

    I entered the design mode and put in the "ControlTip Text" of both the Label and the Field the text above.

    when I open the form in Datasheet view, the tip will not show when I move the cursor above the header or the field.

    Thank you,

    Yuval

  • Here is a solution from Stephen Lebans:

    Allthough it is for Access 2000 it still works.
