Project Server 2013 SSRS report on Project Site List RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

We are using project server 2013. We developed a report using SSRS to get the project site custom list (change request) data. While developing the report using report designer, we have dynamically passed the project site as a paramerter to the Datasource and build the report. While deploying the report in SQL Server Report Manager we tried to create the datasource in similar way. but it is not working. If we hard code the project site url it is working fine. Is there is nay specific way to deply the sharepoint based report in SQL Server Report Manager.

    Thanks in advance, Taj

  • Yes, though I'm unclear about what you've tried so far. What I've done is have a data connection to the reporting db to get a list of projects/projectworkspaceurls (the workspace url is a field in the reporting db). The report is built with a parameter that shows the user a dropdownlist where the text is the project name and the value is the url. When a selection is made, we use the url to connect to the site for the list data.
