Does ADF support SSIS package execution which has oracle db as source conected using Attunity Connector RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have an SSIS package which I would want to run on ADF.

The packages contains data pulled from an Oracle DB which is connected using Attunity Connector for Oracle source. Now this package is running in SSIS successfully. When the same package is deployed on Azure SSIS IR, the pipeline is failing as the connection to source is not being established.

  • You may try to customize the Azure SSIS IR setup, install Oracle connector in it.
    Details here - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/data-factory/how-to-configure-azure-ssis-ir-custom-setup

    From the above document:

An ORACLE ENTERPRISE folder, which contains a custom setup script (main.cmd) and silent install config file (client.rsp) to install the Oracle connectors and OCI driver on each node of your Azure-SSIS IR Enterprise Edition. This setup lets you use the Oracle Connection Manager/Source/Destination to connect to Oracle server
