  • Hi Krishna--

    Please see belwo technet article:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg314584.aspx

You can add the project center webpart in any sharepoint site within the same sharepoint farm. Please see the supported Scenarios.

    Scenarios Supported Not supported

Non-Project site in the Project Web App site collection. (For example, http://contoso/PWA/Proj1TeamBuilder.)

    X

Project site in the Project Web App site collection. (For example, http://contoso/PWA/Project1ProjectWorkSpace.)

    X

Site that is not in the Project Web App site collection. (For example, http://contoso/SharePointSite1.)

    X

Site that is located on a different Project Web App instance. (For example, http://contoso/PWA1 using a PWA Web Part to view data in http://contoso/PWA.)

    X

Site on a different SharePoint farm. (For example, http://liteware/PWA trying to use a PWA Web Part to view PWA data in http://contoso/PWA.)

    X

Apart from that, You can directly query the Reporting database to get the same data of projects from MSP_EPMproject_Userview (view) & get all the desired data to dispaly on a custom webpart.

    Hope that helps.

  • Hi Amit thanks for Reply,

I got added project center webpart in any sharepoint site within the same sharepoint farm.It get displays data fine. But when i click on particular project title under "Project name" column it is not getting displayed tasks available for  that project.

To get them displayed do i need to do any further steps or import any other web parts into my sharepoint site within the same sharepoint farm.

    Thanks & Regards, Krishna

  • Hi Krishna,

Good to know that you are able to use project center webpart on sharepoint site. When you click on the project name from the webpart, It loads the PDP page for the project using the project's PWA url :
    For example,
    http://servername/pwa/Project%20Detail%20Pages/Schedule.aspx?ProjUid=<dc58cbe7-44b3-43c8-be78-15d460c9dd8a>

If you are adding the Project center Web Parts to a site not within the Project Web App site collection, please see the below technet :
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg314583.aspx

    Hope that helps.
