Rows un-update after refreshing datasource RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I had imported ssrs report into power-pivot. When i imported i got 105 records .

Today after 5 days when i refreshed the datasoruce using "Existing Connections & Refresh All" from Pivot home tab  i found info as "369 rows transferred successfully" .

But still i s see only 105 records in my Pivot table can any one help me what is the reason for not getting updated rows and how can i solve this

    Thanks,

    Sid

Answers

  • You have to manually refresh the table in PowerPivot to get the updated data from the data source; this is not done automatically.

  • Hello Sid,

    I tested it by

    - save AtomSvc as file
    - double click to open in in PowerPivot, it loaded 40 rows
    - modifying the AtomSvc with a text editor and change the used parameter
    - In PowerPivot "Refresh" => loaded 43 rows

    so for me it works.

  • What for a "Tablix"? I know this only from SSRS = Reporting Services.
