project server 2010: how to set print footer as a default for an EPM environment RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I want to know if it is possible to set a footer that contains the current date as a default option for all computers that have microsoft project installed in an enterprise environment. Is it possible through the global template? server settings of pwa? or any other way?

  • Hello George,

I had a requirement to show the current build  version of a custom solution on PWA so seems to be similar but not exactl ..Had a web part which dispalys the desired info in PWA (where ever you want to see the currrent date time, build version etc) but not sure how you can see this information in the print in a footer.

  • Hi Amit,

Thanks for the help. I believe you are talking about PWA and including a custom webpart in it. As for my case, I need the footer that contains the date to be a default in Project Professional not PWA.

  • In teh Enterprise Global file, edit teh Enterprise Views to have teh footer you want. I always create seperate views for printing so it's alays laid out as needed to print properly.
