After installing ODAC112021Xcopy, can't find reference to it in vs2008 RRS feed

    Hi everyone, quick question. Installed 64bit ODAC and it doesn't show up 'regularly' in the .net tab. So, I browsed to the exact location of the Oracle.DataAccess.dll but now it displays, in the path column:

    <The system cannot find the reference specified>

    How do I correct this?

    Any advice is appreciated.

    I always put my Oracle.DataAccess.dll file specific to my OS, Project compilation, and Database Client in the /BIN folder of my app, and in project reference BROWSE to the DLL and make a LOCAL Reference to the DLL.

    Seems to resolve many headaches for me.

    Then you just have to add IMPORTS statements to support Oracle

    In web config

            <add namespace="Oracle.DataAccess.Client" />
            <add namespace="Oracle.DataAccess.Types" />

    and use Oracle.DataAccess.Client in the CONFIG

      <connectionStrings>
        <add name="OraConnStr" connectionString="Data Source={SIDName};Persist Security Info=True;User Id={SCHEMANAME};Password={PW}" providerName="Oracle.DataAccess.Client"></add>
      </connectionStrings>
