Differnce between MVC and Ntier

in mvc we have model view and controler 

simelerly in ntier we have db layer bll layer and ui layer 

then what is differce between thn..  as well we can also use ntier in mvc ?

MVC is a presentation pattern, whereas N-Tier is an architectural pattern that describes how to compose together multiple layers of your application, including the presentation layer.
