SSL_connect is failed with SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL on WIN10 IOT platform RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

    I am trying to establish a connection between client (WIN10IOT ARM) and server using SSL_CONNECT() API.I am using Openssl-1.0.1t libraries built for ARM .For client i am creating instance using SSLv3_client_method().Client is getting failed at SSL_connect() API with the error SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL .Can anybody tell me whether the library is not compatible in this platform or any mistakes i have done?

    ERR_get_error() is returning -1 means the underlying <var class="Vt" style="clear:both;font-family:Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;font-size:medium;" title="Vt">BIO</var> reported an I/O error.What can be done now?

  • Found the solution.As SSL2 was disabled while building Open_SSL library i was getting this issue.

    I have just enabled SSL2 while building Open_SSL library and linked this library to my application.Now it is working fine.

    Thank you
