  • Of course the first thing to try is to roll back your changes and make sure that your starting point was good.  If that boots okay, then clone the code - but do not make changes and test it.

  • Yes i rolled back and back to the original position still its not executing and even i checked with some other nk.bin its also struck at this point i dont know what to do?

    in the vs2005 output window it stops after this.What might be the issue?

        227 PID:0 TID:2 OEMInit: KITL init done
       2539 PID:0 TID:2 -OEMInit
       2540 PID:0 TID:2 OEMGetExtensionDRAM: Added 0x83E00000 -> 0x88000000

  • It is hard to tell from that output becuase it tell us the last thing that happened, not what happened at the point of failure.

    With that said, if the problem is due to the call to OEMGetExtensionDRAM, it could suggest a RAM problem.   The problem could be that you don't have RAM at the addresses added, or it could be a hardware fault.

    I thought that you had been successfully building your OS and running it, is that not the case?

  • Yes i can able to build the os without fail and also i checked with the different nk.bin it also ends at this step . And i even tried booting through the sd card that also

    makes no difference.I dont know what is the problem behind this.

    What makes the problem for not allowing the kitl to be interacted with the hardware and what are the possibilties ?

    If we reinstall the wince6 whether the problem will be solved?

  • You only answered half my question (I think).   I asked "I thought that you had been successfully building your OS and running it, is that not the case?"

    You answerd that you are able to build - but what about run the OS?   You say that those previous OSs don't boot now, but did they boot before?

  • Huh? Your first sentance doesn't make any sense.    By boot, I really mean boot to the desktop or your application.

    Let me ask this a different way, is this a new problem?

  • Since it is a new problem that also occurs with your previous "good" nk.bins then I suspect that something happened to your hardware.
