Get-mailbox MailboxId | Select AcceptOnlyMessagesFrom returns values in canonical form RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

The exchange cmdlet 'Get-mailbox MailboxId | Select AcceptOnlyMessagesFrom' always returns values in canonical form. Can we get distinguished names instead or in any other form? If so how can I get it ?

    Thanks.

  • No the return types that the Exchange Management Shell returns are fixed, you can use the canonical form as an Identity in a Get-Mailbox, Get-User or Get-Recipient to get more information on that user. Otherwise you may just want to consider using LDAP directly instead of the EMS.
