Where can I get WcfSvcHost.exe RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am using Visual Express C# with the .Net 3.5 Framework and I am trying to learn WCF by following some of the examples on MSDN.  I also have Visual Basic.Net Express, Visual Web Developer Express and SQL Server Express installed.

I would like to use WcfSvcHost.exe to host some of the WCF examples, but I do not find the exe where everybody says it is i.e. "c:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\Common7\IDE".

    I *DO* have WcfTestClient.exe though.

    How do I get WcfSvcHost.exe?

  • Hi David,

if you have this tool, just create a WCF Service Library project, implement the logic and run the project (CTRL + F5) - WcfSvcHost will be triggered automatically by VS. Btw, I think that it ships with the VS 2008.
