    I have been using querystring, domain.com?var=n approach for a while but I was wondering what the benefits are of using the domain.com/directoryName approach. Are they interchangable? If so, is one option better than the other?

    Advantages of URL rewriting

    1. Security issues: hide site structure (language etc)

    2. SEO issues: people say that URL rewriting' sites are more freindly to Google

    3. Userinterface issues: more usefull and friendly to user
