How to tell ASP.NET Configuration which SQL Server to use

Hello,

I am running VS 2008, I have both SQL Server 2008 Express and SQL Server 2005 Express installed. When I run the ASP.NET Configuration it creates a new database with SQL Server 2008, how can I tell it to create the ASPNETDB.MDF file as an SQL Server 2005 database instead of SQL Server 2008?

I have changed the "SQL Server Instance Name" under Options, but that only affects the Server Exprorer but not the ASP.NET Configuration.

Your help would be deeply appreciated.

Hi,

You got to mention it in the connectionstring, the Data Source="" , here write in the sql server instance that you want to use.
