Why is my storyboard rewinding? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm playing a storyboard, and when it reaches the end it displays a button. When you press the button, I've set it to play the storyboard again.

But - for some reason, it rewinds the storyboard before playing it again, rather than simply repeating the storyboard.

I think Blend is trying to be too clever - can anyone point me in the right direction, I've searched all over the web...!

    Thanks

  • Hi MikeyB - it sounds like you're having problems controling your storyboard.

You may want to try StoryBoardCompletedTrigger (see http://gallery.expression.microsoft.com/StoryboardCompleted)

  • What code are you using to play the storyboard again?

  • Thanks for the reply Chuck and Carmine. I'll take a look at the completedTrigger, and here's how I'm trying to call the storyboard.

I am just using a trigger on a button (using Blend 4).

    It's set to:

    EventName: Click

    ControlStoryBoardOption: Play

Storyboard: FadeAboutIn (which is my storyboard name).
