problem of auto reboot forever and can not boot into window after following command RRS feed

  • after make a ghost image with ghost 12 and clone into new computer which cleared partition

    originally BOOTMGR is missing error, 

    after boot with window 2008 R2 cd, type following commands in command prompt when repair

    after restart it can not boot into window, black screen and then auto restart computer 

    Bcdboot C:\windows
    BOOTREC /FIXMBR
    BOOTREC /FIXBOOT
    BOOTREC /REBUILDBCD
    BOOTREC /SCANOS

    Diskpart
    LIST DISK
    SELECT DISK (followed by the number of the disk . most likely 0)
    LIST PARTITION
    SELECT PARTITION (followed by your partition number. most likely 0)
    ACTIVE
    EXIT

    What sort of image is that?

    partition or hd?

    if you ghosted partition- i guess it was the os partition (likely c:)

    so you missing the boot partition.

    in order to make it work you need to create it manually, using diskpart or any other tool, then boot to winpe and then rebuild a bcd and fix boot.

    Anyway, i suggest you using microsoft native imagex for such sort of things, although you will have to sysprep the system, you can fully automate the initialization process as well.
