Regarding destination path exceeds in File Transfer Manager. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Some customers encountered "destination path exeeds" when trying to download some products with long name. In this case, the file always suspended. We are wondering if there is a solution now.

  • Same problem here...

Attempting to download OS images, keep getting destination timeouts.  This is causing me some serious problems on a current project, I need the OS images to do setup/deployment testing before Friday.

    Thanks.

  • I believe the 'destination path exceeds' is an error regarding the length of the full destination path.    Have the customer make a folder closer to the root of their hard drive (example "d:\downloads") and see if that solves the problem.

    Thanks,

  • Why not fix FTM to not have this error?
