  • Question

  • Hey guys! Maybe someone who knows more about it can clarify a question for me, I do not know if I'm interpreting right, but this is a requirement to do the exam and get the certification?

    "Who should take this exam?

Candidates for this exam are developers with at least one year of experience programming essential business logic for a variety of application types, hardware, and software platforms using C#."

  • Hi Guilherme Corintho.

The 70-483 certification exam is aimed at skilled and experienced C# developers.
If you do not have any kind of experience working in C#, I suggest you to study the C# programming language and to become proficient in writing code in the C# language: no one will forbid you to take the exam, but this is not a simple test and it is highly likely it will result in a waste of time and money if you do not have any knowledge and experience about C#.
Study a lot and hard and make practice to become proficient in C# before trying taking an exam like that one.

    Bye.

  • I mean, I dont have any experience with a job in a company, but I build apps at home using C#, so I think that I cant prove that one year of experience, but I have, This is what I wanted to clarify.

    Thank you for the reply

It could be a good starting point, I do not know your real skill/experience level.
I'd recommend you to review the exam's measured skills as well as the preparation options on the exam's description page.
    Have a good studying!

    Bye.

  • So is 1 year of job in a company it's just a recommendation, not a mandatory requirement right?
I'm from Brazil and to start in a company without a certification its pretty hard here

    Thank you Luigi!!

Yes, that's right: it's just a recommendation, since Microsoft exams are targeted to people who have a considerable experience in the technology which is the subject of the exam.
Good luck for your exam: waiting for you to get certified! ;-)

    Bye.
