Issue with Windows Explorer and WebDav.

Question

I have a customer that wants to move items from one SharePoint site to another. The want to do it for Windows Explorer, but they get an access denied error when trying.

Is that a boundary in WebDav or is there a workaround?

It works if the item is move to the machine desktop, and then to the new site.

I don't know there is such a boundary. I can drag and drop document in Windows Explorer view between different SharePoint 2010 farms.

Can you find more detailed error message in ULS log?

drag and drop isn't i problem, as long as it's Copy. If i use Move, I get the problem.
