Publishing InfoPath 2010 Full Client Form With Code to Form Library RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi

I'm hoping someone can clarify this for me.

As I understand, you can publish InfoPath 2010 Filler forms (not browser enabled enterprise feature) to a SharePoint form library so that the end user needs the InfoPath filler application to complete the form. I understand this is a Standard edition feature as the forms are not browser enabled.

My question is how do you publish full InfoPath forms with C# code in them as full filler forms to a form library as the only option I can see (Administrator-approved) needs to have Enterprise edition and InfoPath Forms Service.

So, for standard form filler forms in a form library is covered under Standard edition, as soon as you add custom code do you need to have Enterprise CAL's for these even though they are still standard full client forms?

    Very confusing!

    Does anyone have an answer?

    Thanks - Jon

  • Hi all I solved this. I didn't realise I needed the sandbox service running. Form works perfectly now as a standard filler form. Thanks
