ResolvePublishParameters task failed on Publish RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have two separated LS2013 solutions that were publishing directly to IIS.

    When I tried publishing this week I am getting the following error on both solutions:

    Error 2 The "ResolvePublishParameters" task failed unexpectedly.
    Microsoft.LightSwitch.AppBridge.Internal.AppBridgeException: Timed out waiting for reply from the receiver.
       at Microsoft.LightSwitch.AppBridge.Implementation.AppBridgeService.SendMessageEx(MessageBase message, Int32 timeOut, Boolean sameThread)
       at Microsoft.LightSwitch.AppBridge.Implementation.AppBridgeService.SendMessage(MessageBase message)
       at Microsoft.LightSwitch.Publish.Tasks.Deployment.ResolvePublishParameters.ExecuteCore()
       at Microsoft.LightSwitch.Publish.Tasks.Common.BuildTask.Execute()

    I tried publishing to a package on disk but had the same problem?
