SFTP Logging - best way? RRS feed

  • General discussion

  • Hello - I am running BizTalk 2009. What would be the best way to capture the results of an SFTP execution?

Currently I am Receiving files on an FTP one-way port and Sending those files on an SFTP one-way port. I am able to notify via e-mail the fact that a file has been received however my client's requirement is to determine if that file was actually sent to the other side successfully and if not, to generate a notification e-mail.

Thanx in advance for your help and suggestions!

  • Hi,

Since there is no out of the box secure FTP adapter in BizTalk 2009 I wonder which SFTP adapter are you using?

  • Hello Randal - I am using the bLogical SFTP adaptor .....  do you happen to know of the best way to determine if a file reaches the receive port successfully or if there was an error of some sort?

Thanx in advance for your help ...

  • Randal - I have downloaded version 1.2.0.1 of the BizTalkFactory Powershell but have encountered error code 2869 when trying to install it.  Would you be able to offer any corrective action I can take?

    Thanx in advance ...
