  • I'm looking for a method or a class to set a name to install a new printer and put this printer to the printer display? then how to do it?

    Is anybody help me please?

  • .NET does not support the creation or installation of printers.  If you want to create a virtual printer then you'll have to switch to unmanaged code as you'll likely need to write a driver.  Once you've done that then you'll be using Win32 to install the printer.  This is normally done through your installation program as you'll need admin privileges. 

    You can use WMI to rename an existing printer and set the default printer but I don't believe you can install a printer through it.
