Specify picture dimensions from file upload

Hi, i have a fileupload control and want to upload images, is there any i could check the file that is uploaded, and make sure that the picture size does not exceed a specified width in my case, each picture cannot exceed 100px x 100px

Hi,

take a look at the code on this page: http://www.stardeveloper.com/articles/display.html?article=2003040501&page=2. There it uses a FileStream to determine the image width and height but normally the uploaded file stream could also be used before actually saving it to disk I think.

Update: take a look at this sample code for the stream: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.web.ui.webcontrols.fileupload.filecontent.aspx.
