  • I am beginning to learn some C++.  I am hoping to find a free or inexpensive

    C++ product to be used on Wndows 8 (64-bit)... will visual c++ 2010 express work on windows 8?  What other C++ products will work on Windows 8? ... Thanks... Rich

    Yes but you should use the 2012 (desktop) version instead: http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/eng/downloads#d-express-windows-desktop
