Itinerery Designer VSIX Package for Toolkit 2.2 contains invalid referenced Assembly for Microsoft.Practices.Services.Itinerary.Dsl.dll

    Question

  • Hi Everyone :)

It seems as though there may be a problem with the Itinerary Designer VSIX Package. Here is my evidence...

We have created a custom resolver as per the documentation. This compiles and works in our current BizTalk 2010 / ESB Toolkit 2.1 Production environment. During my attempt to update this resolver for BizTalk 2013 / ESB Toolkit 2.2, the project will not compile as there is an Assembly reference issue:

    Assembly 'Microsoft.Practices.Services.Extenders.Exporters.Common, Version=2.1.3869.21829, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' uses 'Microsoft.Practices.Services.Itinerary.Dsl, Version=2.1.3869.21824, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35' which has a higher version than referenced assembly 'Microsoft.Practices.Services.Itinerary.Dsl, Version=2.1.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35'

This would seem to indicate that the VSIX Package contains mismatched DLL's.

Has anyone else encountered this issue?
